When ubolts are tightened at the factory, the metal naturally stretches. Reusing stretched ubolts after a suspension upgrade can compromise strength, even if they appear tight. Weak ubolts put undue stress on the leaf spring centre bolts, which can shift or break — causing the differential to move and the leaf pack to spread.
Tough Dog ubolts are made from high-tensile steel and designed with the correct thread length for your new leaf spring packs. They provide secure clamping and peace of mind for your 4WD, whether on-road or off-road.
