Factory-installed ubolts naturally stretch when tightened, and reusing them after a suspension upgrade can compromise their strength. Even if they appear tight, stretched ubolts put undue stress on leaf spring centre bolts, which can move or break, causing the differential to shift and the leaf pack to spread.
